WITH THE RECENT TREND OF RINGTONE BEATS AND BUBBLE GUM LYRICS IN HIP HOP I FELT THE NEED TO CREATE A BLOG DEDICATED TO REAL HIP HOP AND THE ISSUES SURROUNDING IT. HIP HOP CULTURE IS A MAJOR INFLUENCE IN MANY PEOPLE'S LIVES, AND THAT EFFECT DOESN'T HAVE TO BE NEGATIVE. THERE IS A LOT OF HIP HOP THAT NEEDS TO BE HEARD, BUT UNFORTUNATELY MAINSTREAM MEDIA HAS TURNED THE MUSIC I LOVE INTO POP. THIS BLOG WILL ATTEMPT TO SAVE HIP HOP AS I KNOW IT…HIP HOP ISN'T DEAD, IT LIVES UNDERGROUND ~ONE LOVE~

Here are a couple of video's from Minnesnowta's own Doomtree. The first video (Drumsticks) is very creative and semi-comical, but is also a very dope song. Anyone else noticed that Minneapolis is holiding it down with the Indie Hip Hop in 07-08? Big ups...
